I am an Emergency Physician in Edmonton, Alberta. I work in a busy inner city ER and pediatric ER.
Health literacy and public health education continues to decline in all age groups. My mission is to create accessible health information for the general public to empower every individual with the tools they need to stay healthy and out of the ER.
I believe strongly in health advocacy, particularly for vulnerable populations that don’t enjoy the same level of privilege as most.
I make regular appearances on local & national media, and am the co-host of The Doc Talk Podcast. I am also available for speaking engagements on various topics including health misinformation, health literacy, social media etiquette and my diverse journey into medicine.
